The Guinness Book of World Records most successful entertainer of all time needs no introduction, the late and certainly the once in a lifetime greatest to ever grace the earth’s surface is ‘The King of Pop’ – Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009).
The Hollywood Reporter aptly sums up Michael Jackson’s stupendous stardom, here: ” Throughout his life, Michael Jackson created a legacy that shaped the nature of the music industry. His impact on the world continues to grow, even three years after his death. The King of Pop’s legacy has not simply lived on; his memory has shattered records.”
In memory of his greatness that will live on till the end of time, this post attempts to pay homage to Michael Jackson. For it is ‘MJ’s’ vast spectrum of discography, exceptional artistry, culmination of awards, kaleidoscope of achievements, worldwide adoration and domination that propelled him to mega-stardom – this in itself is far too grandiose to quantify and serialise into adequate prose. So, as the words have failed and rendered me speechless – I shall let Micheal Jackson’s music do the talking and in the words of William Shakespeare, “If music be the food of love, play on.”
Michael Jackson – We Love You.
