Zac Posen brought the fairytale back to New York Fashion Week with a Spring/Summer 2013 collection that would make any woman feel like a real life princess. Not to mention a front row packed with celebrities, Posen pulled out all the stops with not only his astounding creations, but also with the models he chose to flaunt his fancy-free collection. The ubiquitous super model of the Super Model era, Naomi Campbell opened the show in a red and purple, fitted, floral cocktail dress that hugged in all the right places. Posen also used other known models of yonder and present years such as Alex Wek, Lindsey Wixson, Coco Rocha, Isabeli Fontana, and Crystal Renn.
The evening wear displayed by Posen, was truly the icing on the proverbial cake and akin to the Cinderella’s and Belle’s from any fairytale, which may or may not bide well with today’s consumer, nonetheless, dreamers such as myself would welcome such glamorous pieces with open arms.
